It's finally here and it took us quite by surprise! Moving day! When I looked at the calendar this morning, I realized that if we were to rent out the house by the first then we really should've been outta here by this weekend. Oops. So off Rich went for boxes and the packing began. We're so organized.
For those not in-the-know, we're off to Hudson and moving into my mother's house while they generously move into the in-law apartment over the garage. (95 year-old Memere moved to a nursing home.) All this so we can take our time deciding our next step...sell & build, or sell & buy. Meanwhile our tenants will graciously be paying down the mortgage for us.
We are so excited to be closer to our friends, Rich's office and have a live-in sitter as well! ;) Even Gabriel -the hater of change- is softening, although he'd still like to take the hill in the backyard, and the walls & doors etc. with us.

Next time pack the kids with clothes on. The journey in those boxes must have been chilly. We're glad you're closer too!
