I thought I would share some of my favorite Simone comments, questions and ponderings from the journal I keep so I won't forget all the funny things the kids say. Here's some of her highlights...
“Hey Mom, ‘um-um-um-um-um’ says ‘think’.”
After listening to a song with the lyrics, “remember the cat curiosity killed him…” Simone asked me, “What silly killed him?”
Simone referring to her morning diaper after removing it: “That smells disgusting to my nose! And you can’t really breathe when you smell poop or pee because you can’t breathe really well.”
Upon seeing a dog being walked on the sidewalk, “Is that a dog or a coyote?”
Simone was making some loud noises while running around the house and asked me as she whizzed by, “Is that really loud? Fortissimo?”
“Look at my dress Mommy, I look like Cellarinda!”
“I can’t nurse Caden on my nipple. I’m not the mommy!”
In the car Simone is always freaking out over the sun in her eyes and when I told her she had to either turn her head or close her eyes she said, “But it makes my eyes drip!”
Simone front and center at yet another Caden diaper change: “Look at his little peanut. It’s so cute!”

I have enjoyed seeing the pictures of your children. They are having a ball at all these really neat places. What a beautiful family.
