While out feeding the goats tonight, Gabriel thought we should look for eggs as well. We were completely surprised to find two eggs sitting in the straw right inside the coop! They didn't quite make it into the nesting boxes so we'll have to work on that.
Gabriel was sooo excited and kept saying, "I can't wait to taste those sweet eggs!" Unfortunately, I'm not exactly sure when they were laid so we may pass on these first eggs and put them back into the nesting boxes to show our girls where we'd rather find them.
We are looking forward to many, many more to come! Yay!
