Simone's 4th Birthday Bash

Every year we luck out with weather that is decent enough for an outdoor party but this year took the cake! 73* or more with not a cloud in the sky. Perfect for a party of 18 monkeys. (Almost too hot but I'm not complaining!)

Sooo... first up was the hunt, 150 plastic zoo animals hid throughout the (newly designed) yard.I scored these cool blue nets for the kids to scoop up the critters.Next up, a group hug before the bashing of the pinata.Caden observed the tradition for a minute and then got right into the swing of things.Tears, tantrums and fighting ensued. I love a good pinata brawl.Then, to make up for the unfair distribution of pinata guts; more sugar and processed baked goods.
Finally- time to chill, jump and slide and glide.



































Later, chicken farmer Rich took the kids out to the barn. Chicken farmer Rich, is very happy to share his love of poultry.
As evening approached, party #2 came into full swing. More friends, more family, more food and yes... more cake. As always, cousin Adeline is Simone's right-hand girl when it's cake time. And so the never-ending party continued well into the night. As well a four year old's party should!Happy Birthday Bomey!!

It goes without saying (though I will say it anyway), you really know how to throw a party (x2) woman! The feng shui of the newly designed yard was an ideal setting for hours of well organized, creative, and memorable fun. We had a blast!

Kim (only mildly annoyed you set the birthday bash bar so ridiculously high - I mean come on, how am I supposed to top (or even equal) the Niles Zoo? We live in the city, for cripes sake!)
